Deborah Shlian practiced medicine in a large multi-specialty group before returning to UCLA for her MBA. She lives with her husband, Joel, co-author of three of her mystery/thrillers including the award winning international thriller, “Rabbit in the Moon”. She is currently writing a series featuring Sammy Greene, a brash, young native New Yorker who has her own radio talk show. The series is co-authored with Linda Reid, a pediatrician and former UCLA colleague. Book #1 in the series, Dead Air just won first place in the Royal Palm Literary Award for best thriller 2010. Book #2 Devil Wind will be released in April, 2011.
