Carrion Comfort is one of the most original, epic vampire novels every written, and one that I’d argue is the best. Just… unspeakably great. Ageless psychic vampires who have been using humans as cattle – and pawns in their own power struggles against each other for centuries. Phenomenally developed characters – utterly chilling ancient vampires and compelling humans that go up against impossible odds. Simmons’ work is a tremendous classic, one that I re-visit every few years.
