A romantic historical novel from bestselling thriller-master Sandra Brown, about an independent woman who runs a boarding house in Dust Bowl Texas.
A moving story of a time, a place and a woman.

I’ve been a Sandra Brown fan since she wrote category romance oh, so many years ago and have happily followed her into mainstream suspense. Rainwater is a lovely departure from Brown’s normal fare … a compelling, emotional read. I loved it.
This book’s a bit different for Sandra Brown — it’s not a thriller — but it still has what I love so much about her work: intense characters caught in a high stakes situation, great writing, and a strong sense of place. I couldn’t put it down.
